Once more, the Bob Marley and the Rita Marley Foundations hosted a celebration of The Honour Rebel's Birthday, AFRICA UNITE 2006. Last year it was Ethiopia, this year, the proceedings took place in Ghana West Africa, from February 1st through the 6th, 2006.

Events included a photo exhibition, a symposium and an immense concert featuring musicians from Africa and Jamaica. There were also visits to important historical sites in Ghana and cabaret shows with musicians.
